We are a group of dedicated individuals passionate about serving the Lord.

 

Jefferson Street Baptist Church is a historic church in downtown Dublin, Georgia. For over one-hundred years, we have been sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to make Christ known throughout the world beginning with Middle Georgia and extending to the ends of the earth!

We preach Christ crucified!

We believe in the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

We preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:23-24 (ESV)

OUR VALUES

We Value The Scriptures

We believe that the Word of God is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). For that reason, we preach the Bible verse by verse. In each of our services, we open the Bible, explain the meaning of the text, and give application for life. Christ told us that we cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. We believe the Scriptures are the very words of God.

We Value Life Transformation

The Scriptures teach that if any person is in Christ they are a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). The gospel is life changing. It is not our desire to simply see people join our church, but rather see people radically changed by the power of the gospel. We value life transformation that is revealed through the new birth and spiritual growth. 

We Value Christ Centered Worship

The purpose of our worship services is to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire for everything we do during our worship services to exalt Him.    

We Value Missions

Christ has called us to be salt and light to this dark and decaying world. He has commanded us to go into the world and preach His gospel to every creature. We believe that starts at home and extends to the ends of the earth. 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Come as you are!

We want you to come just as you are. When you walk through our doors you may see people in suits and ties, but you will also see people in jeans and t-shirts. We want to make sure when you visit that you are comfortable, and that is all that matters to us. As long you are come through our doors, we want to make sure you feel loved and welcomed. If you ever need anything, always feel free to connect with us. We love to hear from our new visitors!

Pastor Kyle Giddens

Pastor Kyle has his BA in Theology and a Masters of Ministry. He has a passion for expository preaching and the local church. He and his wife Jennifer have two children.

Pastor Bryce Robinson

Pastor Bryce is a graduate of Brewton Parker College. Bryce shows his passion to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ by leading us in the area of missions and outreach. 

 

Christina Lowery

Christina Lowery is our Director of Worship. She has a heart for Christ-centered worship. She and her husband, Ron,  have five children.

Pam (seated) and Melody serve as the secretaries of JSBC. They are the smiling faces of the office that help our staff and members in a variety of ways.
